If you plan to visit Venice, consider to spend a couple of nights in 'La Serenissima' so you get the real Venice experience. We can help you making your stay in Venice as comfortable as you want.

Our newly renovated apartment is located 50m from Canal Grande, where you can find a nice little dock to sit down and relax. We are located in lively Cannaregio, a neighbourhood with a local vibe because most of the "Veneziani" live there.

The 2 bedroom apartment is still in Venetian style,  with authentic floors and ceilings, in quiet, safe and typical 'calle' inhabited by locals. At 10 min walking distance from train and bus station, 3 min from a waterbus station directly connected to the airport, train and bus station. Just around the corner is Strada Nova with shops, supermarket, bakery and dining. Rialto bridge is 10 min away, San Marco is at a 20 min walk.

The space

If you look for a home away from home, look no further, our home is your home! We are Silvia & Ruben, an Italian - Dutch family, living in the Netherlands. When we visit Silvia's parents Ernestina & Luigi (who own Residence la Corte di Marga) and other family and friends in the prosecco region in Veneto, we also love to visit Venice to enjoy its atmosphere and art.

Built in 1863, this is a renovated property with all modern comforts, where authentic details have been retained. With traditional Venetian floor "terrazzo alla veneziana" and beamed ceiling, you will feel like living in the ninenteenth century.

Located on the first floor (one short flight of stairs), so no need to worry about "acqua alta" (high water). It has 9 windows, some facing the garden, some facing a small street, letting in enough day light. As you enter the apartment, you will find the lounge and living area featuring a comfy sofa and a flat screen TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime. On your left you will enter a spacious fully equipped kitchen and from there you reach the bathroom and a double bedroom. On your right you will find the master bedroom with antique furnitures. WIFI, airco and washing machine are available.

The neigbourhood

With the Fondamenta della Misericordia and the Fondamenta degli Ormesini just a few minutes away, you will be sure to enjoy your stay from your sunrise coffee, to your late-night drinks. This is by far the most popular area for Venetians to hang out and practice the art of "la dolce vita" by the canals. If you like, we will recommand you all our favourite spots so you discover the real Venice, from sustainable experiences to high quality local restaurants and bars. You will be close to the Gran Canal, the ancient Jewish Ghetto, and the beautiful Fondamente Nove where you will be able to go for a morning jog as you marvel at the sun rising on the Venetian lagoon.
